This is a great opportunity to see behind the scenes of high-end hairstyling while getting your haircut free of charge.

In the second editorial photographer Daniel King captures model Meredith Hopland rocking Pencil Skirts and Sweat Shirts. I absolutely love the Mia Farrow inspired haircut on Meredith, Leonardo used a lot of gel and water to create the wet look and added sea salt spray for the messy effect.

The third story is all about Hats and Hands, also shot by Daniel King, groomed by Leonardo Manetti and styled by Fashion Editor Bruce Pask.

Last night the Metropolitan Museum of Art's held a tribute to the late Alexander Mcqueen. The Met Ball was filled with incredible gowns and beautiful hair. Our own Marco Santini prepped Natalia Vodianova who arrived with Valentino looking stunning with the two tone chignon banane. Leonardo Manetti was the creator of Amber Valetta's messy braided bun, who arrived in style donning Stella Mccartney 's corseted gown. Dante Pronio our younger stylist pushed the envelope with Anna Dello Russo by putting an Alan Journo egg shaped hat on the sleek side parted ponytail.

Romina Herrera Malatest styled the shoot with pieces by Issey Miyake, Sonia Rykiel and Jason Wu for an edgy yet feminine glam rock feel. Our own Pasquale Ferrante created a Ziggy Stardust inspired hairdo for the blonde beauty, while make up artist John McKay splashed hot pink eyeshadow to complete the look. Day6

Frank Tell@Lincoln Center. Call time 4pm, yet another hectic show. We had 0ver 20 models and lots braids to do. With a team of 15 assistants and the watchful eye of key stylist Pasquale Ferrante, the show came out to look amazing. The collection was heavy with knits and some beautiful leather pieces which went perfectly with Pasquale's british punk inspired hairdo. Here is glimpse of how over 80 braids with ponytails and high buns came together.

Valentine's Day started with a 6am call time for Leonardo Manetti. Jenny Pacham show felt like a Red Carpet, filled with gorgeous gowns and dresses. The collection had so many intricate details that Leonardo went with simple, beautiful but never the less the glamorous hair.

Odilon @ Metropolitan Pavilion.

Call time 4pm. I was very excited for this Presentation, as it was the first show for the young designer Stacey Clark Marco Santini the key stylist created almost an elf like look, hair down and ears peeking out. Fairy like hair and a bit of goth feel in the collection, the Presentation looked amazing.

Fashion Week Diary, Day 4! Timo Weiland, MM6, Bensoni and Bess!

Day 4.

Timo Weiland @ Lincoln Center, call time 7am. Leonardo Manetti has been keying Timo's shows for couple of seasons now, there is always that comfortable vibe when it comes to their showings. This season Timo and Alan's inspiration was Gloria Vanderbilt and Keith Richards returning from India. Leonardo complimented this inspiration with a side parted hair that was sowed with the elastic band.

MM6, call time 7:30am. This presentation unfortunately wasn't documented, but looking at style.com photos, I appreciate Pasquale Ferrante's natural touch to flowing hair. Simplicity goes a long way sometimes.

Bensoni @ Standard Hotel, call time 3pm. This was one of my favorite looks this season. Leonardo Manetti created a braided mohawk which was beyond beautiful, and so were the clothes. The backstage experience was a bit overwhelming. The look was complicated, we were all cramped and time wasn't on our side, but Leonardo and his team were not to be stopped. Two hours later the girls were all ready and the show was on, and I was running towards Don Hill's to my most beloved show.

Bess @ Don Hills, call time 5pm. I love fashion shows in general, but nothing can compare to my love for Bess!

This season was no exception. The show was set at Don Hills one of my favorite clubs, where I spent most of my teenage years dancing. Nothing felt more right, than getting models prepped in a graffiti covered basement for a show like Bess. Sarajane Lynch using curlers turned the girls into an ultimate icons of the 70's era and boys into a dreamy rockstars. I can go on and on about that show, but I'd rather you judge it by the photos. Fashion Week Diary, Day 3! Loden Dager, Mandy Coon, Kimberly Ovitz and Billy Reid!

September 12th.

Day 3.

One word: Overload!

Loden Dager @ Hudson Hotel, 8am call time. The Presentation took place at Good Units, which I have never visited at such an early hour. The deserted feel of that place added the cool moodiness to the whole experience. 20 male models had to be groomed into disheveled preppy boys, with Leonardo Manetti as the key stylist it just turned into a really fun grooming morning. The collection was amazing and the boys looked extremely cute!

Mandy Coon @ Lincoln Center, 11am call time. To be honest, I was petrified for this show. Pasquale Ferrante's updo was definitely one of the most complex to recreate on 25 models in 2 hours. Inspiration for this Do was Mandy herself, with her chopped off hair and a colored long bangs. Somehow Pasquale and his team managed to mousse up the longest locks into a perfect head wrap and then add Lena Ott's colored pieces as bangs. Once I saw the whole look come together, with the one eyed make up and some devastatingly beautiful clothes I was left speechless.....Cool is the only word I would use.

Kimberly Ovitz, 11:30am call time. Unfortunately I couldn't be there as I was attending the other show, but judging by the photos and Marco Santini's wild imagination I truly wish I could have been there. Marco used a hair net for controlled movement. His idea was to create a fluid effect. Afte styling, he placed a hair net over the models face to keep the hair in place and with Maude Laceppe's smudged yellow lips it all came together. I love the whole look of the Presentation as well as those yellow black leggings.

Billy Reid, call time 4pm. We checked into Milk Studios all tired, hoping for second wind. We definitely got it by the time the models got there. The inspiration for this season was JFK, you can never go wrong with that one. Billy also showed his first women's collection this season, where Diaz created a very polished and rich looking hairdo for the girls. The look of the Presentation was very warm, approachable and never the less, sexy! xx

Day 2.

Second day of Fashion Week. We had an 8am call time for Jeremy Laing's Presentation at Jack Studios. Honestly it wasn't easy getting out of bed so early, the moment Fashion Week starts so do it's parties, somehow you end up having no sleep for a week straight. Regardless we were there and ready to work.

I always love Jeremy Laing shows, it's a pleasure to be in his company and see his new collection unfold. Everything about this collection was beautiful and bewitching, including Marco Santini's witchlike inspired Do, that took my breath away. I just simply love that kind of hair, with a touch of darkness and lot's of moodiness. Here is a backstage look of how it all came together. Enjoy!xx

The 1st day of Fashion Week is always the most fun. ION Studio had 2 Presentations that day, Copperwheat, which was keyed by our lovely Sarajane Lynch and Hyden Yoo by Marco Santini. The Copperwheat Presentation took place at the Soho Grand Hotel, where Sarajane and her team groomed 20 male models to create a modern pompadour, complimenting the designers vision of an urban warrior.

At the same time our second team checked into the Soho House Library to prepare girls and boys for Hyden Yoo's Presentation. I absolutely love the french braid/fishtail cocktail that Marco Santini created for Hyden Yoo. Here are some backtstage and onstage snaps from Copperwheat and Hyden Yoo, hope you enjoy them.xx

Vidal Sassoon The Movie

Vidal Sassoon The Movie, brought out a number of influential people to the screening at MoMA on the 9th. The two models above wore wigs for the event that were cut by Sarajane Lynch and colored by Lena Ott, and Naomi Knights. The idea was to replicate Vidal's signature looks that became a fashion staple in the 1960's and are still being buzzed about today.

The documentary tells the story of Sassoon's career and "explores the life and legacy of the most influential hairdresser in the world". You can catch the film for a limited time in the Village East Theatre starting tonight until the 17th.

Flirty florals, in a spectrum of colors, mixed and matched; sounds kind of crazy, but looks crazy beautiful. Nylons "Secret Garden" shows that when done right, mixing florals can be artsy, and attention getting, in all the right ways. Marcos Diaz amped up the fun factor on the shoot with slightly crimped and brushed out hair, which works perfectly to break up the prettiness of all the outfits. Nylons February 2011 issue features make-up by our very own Erin Green. Working for the past five years in NY as a make-up artist, Erin's make-up kit, comes along with a lot of industry experience; the young artist has worked with the likes of Marc Jacobs, Jessica Stam, and Jenny Shimizu. The Nylon shoot emphasized a peachy color palette with a lot of highlights that lend to dewy fresh skin; Erin claims this "no make-up, makeup" look as one of her strong suits. Although the shoot keeps it simple, Erin is no stranger to extreme editorial work as well, and she can be found painting faces at the shows of Fashion Week every season.

It was the last day of Fashion Week and we were more than exhausted from all the shows and all the after parties. For some reason every time we have the last show, the call time has to be at 8am. Honestly, it wasn't easy after attending the Last Magazine party the night before, but as always you find a way to pull it together for the final show. Our own Marco Santini was the key stylist at Jeremy Laing, which took place at Milk Studios on early Thursday morning. To my surprise everything went smooth, no one was late and the girls were ready on time. There was a bit of sadness that NYFW came to an end, but we definitely enjoyed every second of it with all its madness, fun and some really high heels! xx

Our own Pasquale Ferrante reunited with her for the 5th time for the autumn/winter 2010 issue of 10. With sleeked back hair and minimal clothing, Guinevere shines in this unforgettable spread shot by Cedric Buchet. The street sitting is one of a kind story that belongs to all boroughs of NYC, from uptown streets to brooklyn she never fails to look comfortably sexy. September 9th 2010.

The 1st day of Fashion Week. Let's just say it couldn't have been more hectic. First trip, Jane Hotel for Candela Presentation. Diaz as key stylist was a pleasure to work with, even though my stress level was high, being around him I kind of forgot that I still had 3 more shows to go. Not to mention they were all happening at the same time at the Milk Studios. It all felt out of control, but it was extremely exciting.

Between shows we killed some time on the set of Foam Magazine shoot. Pasquale Ferrante was working with lovely Clemence Posey, before heading to Mandy Coon's Presentation to prepare 28 models and turn them into a jelly fish.

4pm was our call time: Marco Santini for Kimberly Ovitz, Diaz for Billy Reid and Pasquale Ferrante for Mandy Coon.

Last night ION Studio held a Presentation for the Spring 2011 Collection by Ann Yee. Our own Chris Marrero was the creator of the messy side knot, which was inspired by the breezy and light collection. Make up artist Lauren Kuzas chose bright eyeshadow colors to compliment the look. Overall the girls looked feminine and youthful. The Presentation was a huge success with packed audience and lots of press. Ann Yee will be the designer to watch for many years to come. It was a hot summer day in July when our own Pasquale Ferrante met a lovely 17 year old Tali Lennox ( daughter of Annie Lennox). I'm so in love with the September issue of Vogue Korea. Partly because of everyone that worked on it, including our own Marco Santini, our dear friend and an amazing make up artist Thorsten Weiss and not to mention my favorite model Freja Beha Erichsen. Photographer Rafael Stahelin captured the mood of fall in the most romantic way. Thanks to the beautiful styling of Ye Young Kim, minimal make up and the most feminine hairdos "Poetics of Body" is an editorial to remember.
