Kimberley Pierce for Dazed & Confused!

Dazed & Confused June 2012 issue features an avant-garde editorial story shot by photographer Daniel Jackson. Inspired by fashion illustrator René Gruau, model Codie Young (as well as Ava Smith and Madison Headrick) is transformed by make-up artist Yadim to look like a minimalistic drawing. Stylist Karen Langley hand-picked a few minimalistic pieces from the likes of Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Celine to complete the simple sketch-a-like story. Codie's red tresses are a color art of our own Kimberley Pierce.

Tip of the Week : Beachy Waves by our Master Stylist Mariano Franzese

Summer Beachy Hair - so trendy and so easy to make at home!

On damp hair spray Sea Salt Hairspray 

(use your homemade spray, full recipe can be found here http://www.ionstudionyc.blogspot.com/2012/05/tip-of-week-homemade-sea-salt-hairspray.html or alternatively you can use Davines No.14 Sea Salt Spray) and loosely comb though your hair without flattening the roots. 

Starting from your natural part, separate your hair into small equal sections. Braid each section into a small braid - not too loose, not too tight. Curl the braid (wrapping it around your finger) and then pin it flat to your head. Let it dry naturally. If you can, leave it this way over night. In the morning (or when dry) remove the pin and loosely comb through with your fingers. The result will be a great texture for an easy-to-do updo or just leave it down and enjoy the beachy-looking waves.

Lensed by Santiago Ruisenor she looks incredibly sexy and exotic in the designs of Louis Vuitton, Gianfranco Ferre, Salvatore Ferragamo and Guess, styled by Annie Lask. The curly beauty went from radiant red to strawberry blonde and it's a flawless sun-kissed color creation of our own Kimberly Pierce, who was also behind Heide's vibrant red fire for the unforgettable Guess by Marciano S/S 2012 campaign.

"Sorrow and Beauty": Photographer Benny Horne captured models Patricia van der Vliet and Josephine Skriver, two arising stars of the fashion world, in this alluring editorial for Vogue Russia. The two blonde beauties look so delicate and sensual in designs from the likes of Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, Anna Sui and Agent Provocateur styled by Katie Mossman. Clothed in warm colors and lace, with pale coral lips and subtle eye shadows by Stevie Huynh, our own Leonardo Manetti completed the whole composition with his perfectly elegant yet youthful ponytails.

Pasquale Ferrante for Vogue Spain!

Lovely Eniko Mihalik lensed by Victor Demarchelier for May issue of Vogue Spain evokes such a flowery romantic feel. On a cemetery backdrop, she seems so light and innocent in the pure white designs from the likes of Galliano, Oscar de la Renta, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Nina Ricci and others styled by Melanie Huynh. Our own Pasquale Ferrante gently braided her locks and added gardenia accents to this May-blossom romance.
